Phone Numbers

Manage the phone numbers (DIDs) used for voice campaigns and inbound calls.

Overview

Manage the phone numbers used for voice campaigns and inbound calls. Each number can be configured with routing rules, caller ID settings, and recording preferences. Phone numbers serve as the foundation of your voice communication setup in AethenoxAI.

Viewing Your Numbers

Go to Voice → Phone Numbers
Navigate to the Phone Numbers page from the sidebar under the Voice section.

Review your numbers
See all your phone numbers listed with their status (active, inactive), country, and current usage across campaigns and routing rules.

Adding a Phone Number

Click "Add Number"
Click the "Add Number" button at the top of the Phone Numbers page.

Select country and type
Choose the country and number type (local, toll-free, or mobile) from the available options.

Confirm and provision
Review your selection, confirm the number, and it will be provisioned and ready to use within moments.
Info
Phone number availability varies by country and plan. Some number types may not be available in all regions. Contact support if you need a specific number type.

Number Settings

Click the settings icon on any phone number to configure its behavior:

  • Caller ID — Set the display name shown to recipients when this number makes outbound calls
  • Default Routing — Configure where inbound calls to this number are routed (team member, queue, or AI agent)
  • Recording Preferences — Enable or disable automatic call recording for this number
